1. Respect for Creator Intellectual Property
DownDouyin (https://downdouyin.com) respects the intellectual property rights of video creators, musicians, photographers, and publishers on Douyin (抖音).
- No Permanent Media Hosting: DownDouyin does not host, store, index, or publish an archive of third-party videos or images on its servers. All media resolution occurs transiently in memory in response to a user-supplied link.
- Public Content Only: DownDouyin cannot access private accounts, deleted posts, or paywalled content. If a video or note is removed or set to private on Douyin, it immediately becomes inaccessible through DownDouyin.
2. How Copyright Owners Can Request Link Blocking
If you are a copyright owner (or an authorized agent) and wish to prevent specific Douyin creator URLs or work IDs from being parsed through DownDouyin, please submit a request through our Contact & Support Page with the topic Copyright / Content Removal Request and include:
- Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A description of the original work and your creator profile or ownership proof.
- Exact Source URLs / Work IDs: The specific Douyin post URL(s) or 19-digit video/note IDs you wish to block from parsing.
- Contact Information: Your name, organization (if applicable), and verifiable email address.
- Good-Faith Statement: A statement that you are the copyright holder or authorized to act on the copyright holder's behalf.
Upon verification, our administrator will add the specified work or creator identifier to the server blocklist and confirm completion via email.
